Simply one of the great unknown pop albums of all-time. Nil Lara came out of nowhere with a brazen mix of afro-cuban, alt-rock, punk intensity, and freakin' Julio Iglesias-like crooning. The songs are beautiful, deeply heart-felt, and interesting. The textures--based on Lara's electric tres and cuatro, David Goodstein's drumming, and the virtuoso bass by Phil McArthur (Ricky Martin)--never stop shifting and surprising. I wish he'd made 10 more albums in this vein.

What a fantastic song. As for a lot of people here, it was burned into my brain during that pivotal moment on Scrubs between Elliot and J.D.

Everything about this song, excellent, wit a bass line, come tae scotland man

Man, the bass licks on this song seem particularly difficult. It’s like it’s playing offbeat from the drums. Really adds some added texture to the rhythm.

Lara is brilliant....Love this track.. Wish he'd perform in Ram;s Head Annapolis - the best venue in TriState Delmarva and,DC area..

I first heard this song on scrubs as well and fell in love with this whole album that I otherwise may not have found. Recently on ITunes this song was removed I wonder why? Was Nil sick of it ? Well apparently there is another album called Da just discovered it

so many good covers could be made of this song, youtubers need to get on it

Nil Lara's album is one that somehow got lost in the music biz promo shuffle. Nonetheless, his music is outstanding and still shines to this very day. I even played for my friend Money Mark one afternoon here in LA.

Why is this absolute jem of a song not on other streaming platforms?!?! Literally one of my favourite songs ever and it isn't on spotify.
