Dat was een echte, talentvolle zanger zoals er vroeger nog een klein aantal waren. En ook zijn liedjes zijn uitzonderlijk mooi. Dat was de tijd toen zingen nog een kunst was die niet werd beoefend door om het even wie die denkt dat hij kan zingen. Nu loopt het vol van zangers zonder stem en zonder de minste techniek.
